Description: Scratch is an easy to learn coding language for younger or beginner coders. Students will learn the very basics of coding through the use of Scratch “blocks” instead of more complicated lines of code. The class will require students to make an account on the Scratch Coding website. We will be using the book Coding Games in Scratch by John Woodcock as a resource. Registration deadline 9/23/19. Parents must set up account at home.
