Activity Description

Action and intrigue surround this week’s Spanish camp! Use stealth strategies of cracking codes, overcoming obstacles courses and treasure hunting for clues. Campers will work together to beat the clock before time runs out by utilizing Concordia Language Villages immersion strategies of games, music, movement and teamwork to learn and practice Spanish. All language levels are welcome.

Activity Description

The goal of the camp is for you to use writing as a tool to create, reflect, learn and grow. To incorporate nature and a sense of place in your writing, we'll spend time writing in the Environmental Learning Center on the High School grounds and a nearby park during our class time for our lessons and activities. We'll work hard to develop a space that is caring, supportive and enriching so you feel safe to write and share.

Activity Description

Build your own robot using GEARS robotics kits. Learn basic systems including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and wireless remote control. Students participate in the design process and gain experience working in teams. This class will also visit a business that uses robotics to learn more about careers in this exciting industry. Bring a lunch each day of class.

Science, art, movement and relaxation- this class has it all!

Come explore spa science by making your own bath bombs, soaps, lip balms and facials. Then, use your creativity to design your own pillow cases, eye masks and hair accessories. We will also pamper ourselves with foot soaks, sugar scrubs and pedicures and learn some fun relaxation techniques like making stress balls and practicing yoga. Join us for this fun, yet relaxing class!
