Sponsoring Organization: Itasca Orchestra and Strings Program

Description: Itasca Orchestra and Strings Program offers weekly lessons in violin, viola, cello or bass. Student orchestra experiences are included in the registration.

All students play in one of four student orchestras, which rehearse after school at the Robert J. Elkington Middle School. Students may ride District 318 buses from their school to orchestra practice. Lessons may be held in our Reif Center office, The Itasca County YMCA, or in Grand Rapids, Deer River or Greenway schools.

Itasca Orchestra and Strings has instruments available at a discounted price for students who qualify for this program.

Strings student concerts will be held at the Reif Performing Arts Center at 7:00 pm on December 19th and May 21st.
