Description: All skill levels are welcome. Topics will be determined by student’s requests. Potential topics may include throwing cylinders, bowls, plates and lids. Hand building and extrusions or slab work may also be covered. You may also work on your own projects. Clay must be purchased from the Paradise $47.50 for a 25 lb bag of fresh clay, $15 for a 10 lb bag of recycled clay. Cost of clay covers glazing and firing. You may share a bag of clay. A variety of tools are available to use in the studio. A new tool kit may be purchased from the Paradise for $10. You will get dusty and dirty during the class. Instructor suggests you bring either a full-size apron or an old beach-sized towel. You may use the studio outside of class during open hours. All supply costs are solely the responsibility of the family—MAA unfortunately cannot assist with these costs.
